This product provides statistical properties of MODIS geophysical cloud fields co-located on the OMI pixel together with cloud information and geolocation fields from the OMI Cloud Product. Merged data fields are provided for all OMI pixels along the OMI UV2 cross track for which there exist some co-location between OMI and MODIS pixels. The MODIS data fields from the Moids Cloud Product (MYD06) are co-located onto the OMI pixel at 1 or 5 km, depending on the resolution of the field provided in the MODIS Cloud Product (MYD06). The mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum and number of counts are computed for each data field at the resolution provided (1 or 5 KM). The statistical properties of all 36 MODIS Level 1b radiances (MYD021KM) are also provided. This includes 16 Earth View 1KM emissive bands, 15 Earth view 1KM reflective solar bands, 5 Earth View 500m aggregated 1 KM reflective solar bands and 2 5 Earth View 250m aggregated 1 KM reflective solar bands. Level 2 OMI data fields from the OMI Cloud Product (OMCLDRR) will also be provided for each granule and will include the reflectivity, radiational cloud fraction, O3 Cloud Fraction, O3 cloud top pressure. The merged product also includes all of the Level 2 geolocation fields for OMI, including the pixel corner locations for each omi pixel the area of pixel along the cross track and the x-track quality flag used to flag the OMI row anomaly (though MODIS data fields can still be used for the bad rows).
